The Steele Auto Group currently has an immediate requirement for an Accounting Manager for the South Shore Chevrolet Buick GMC location in Bridgewater, NS. The successful candidate will have previous full cycle accounting experience, excellent management and supervisory skills, and be responsible for the administrative staff and administrative duties within the dealership.
The successful applicant has the following capabilities and can perform the following:
Solid working knowledge of accounting office functions and managing the accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processes
Have experience with payroll and human resources and ensure that company policies are communicated and followed
Prepare financial statements, produce detailed reconciliations and month end reports with accuracy
Audit the balance sheet and schedules regularly and address any problems while keeping the General Manager informed of any concerns
Ensure that the accounting records are maintained in an orderly, current and accurate condition at all times
Assist and prepare annual dealership budgeting
Assist and prepare annual reconciliations and schedules for external accountants
Participate in Performance Group meetings and make recommendations for improvement
Ability to effectively communicate with staff and Managers
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office required
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a similar position
The Steele Auto Group is seeking an Appointment Coordinator for their Business Development Center. We are looking for an individual with an excellent communication skills, professionalism, multitasking, and a strong desire to exceed customer’s expectations.
As the first point of contact for our automotive service center, you set the tone for our customers' experience. In addition to booking and confirming appointments, the successful candidate will also be responsible for providing information on, and suggesting additional services to our clients. These positions offer a base pay of $11/hr, plus a performance based monthly bonus.
Responsibilities for the position include:
Handling inbound and outbound calls for our service department.
Rapport building and maintaining relationships with our customers
Courteously assisting customers in resolving problems
Collecting and verifying customer and vehicle information
Pre-selling additional services and discussing recommended maintenance
Initiating Customer Satisfaction Surveys
