At Team Fredericton, we believe the strongest communities are built through action, and this month, we put that belief into motion.
In April, team members from every department across both Steele GMC Buick and Steele Hyundai Fredericton came together for something bigger than business. In partnership with a local entrepreneur and proud Steele customer, at Bliss Bake Shoppe, we launched our very own Hero Cookie Initiative.
This wasn’t just about cookies. It was about recognition. Gratitude. Showing up for the people who show up for our community every single day.

In what we proudly called our own “Honour a Hero Day,” our teams hit the road across Fredericton with one mission: deliver appreciation where it’s truly earned. Over the course of the day, we visited:
Regional hospitals
RCMP and city police departments
Fire stations and EMS teams
The 911 dispatch center
Local hospice centers
Nursing homes
At every stop, we were met with smiles, gratitude, and a reminder of just how strong and connected our community really is.
What made this initiative even more meaningful was the full-team effort behind it. From sales to service, parts to admin, everyone leaned in. It was a reflection of who we are as a group: united, driven, and deeply rooted in the communities we serve.
We often talk about delivering exceptional experiences to our customers, but this day was about delivering something even more important: appreciation to those who dedicate their lives to helping others.
The Hero Cookie Initiative is just one example of how Team Fredericton continues to lead with heart. Because at the end of the day, success isn’t just measured in numbers, it’s measured in impact inside and outside the showroom.
And this… this was one of those moments that truly mattered.
