Earlier this month, Christina Wood and I were brainstorming something fun the staff at Steele Hyundai New Braunfels could do during our October corporate visit. I asked Christina if she’d be willing to play a part in a video, and she agreed, although I’m pretty sure she arrived hoping I’d forgotten. No such luck! 😂

The idea was simple: put Preston Gleaton in a Michael Myers costume and give him one important assignment: deliver our “Scary Good Deals” for October. Getting those deals through the dealership, however, was anything but simple. Some employees were terrified, others looked ready to fight him, and a few were completely unbothered. Apparently, even Michael Myers can’t get everyone’s attention!

Meanwhile, Sydna, our GM was patiently waiting for the delivery, unaware that her delivery guy was having a very rough first day on the job.

In the end, the deals made it to their destination, Christina made good on her promise, and the entire store had a blast filming. Having our corporate team join the fun made it even better.

A big shoutout to Christian for filming and putting the video together! He took our wild idea and helped bring it to life, capturing all the scares, laughs, and personalities that made it so much fun.

And the finishing touch? The weather supplied an actual storm, complete with thunder and lightning. Exactly the kind of workday Michael Myers would appreciate. You can plan the costumes and the storyline, but sometimes Mother Nature volunteers for special effects! 🎃
